Is your phone ready?
Two things to check: eSIM support and an unlocked phone.
Check your iPhone
- Open Settings → Mobile Service or Cellular and look for Add eSIM.
- Check Settings → General → About for the network or carrier lock status. It should say “No SIM restrictions”.
- Confirm eSIM support for your exact model and purchase region with Apple.

Once a plan is assigned to your account, install its eSIM over Wi-Fi using the QR code or installation details.

Select your travel eSIM for mobile data and follow its roaming instructions. The package’s activation policy sets when validity begins.

Answers to your travel eSIM questions.
What is a travel eSIM?
It is a digital SIM profile installed on your phone. A travel data package lets that profile connect to supported mobile networks at your destination, without changing your physical SIM.
Can I buy an Ahoy plan today?
Public plan purchasing is not open yet. You can explore destinations and estimate data now. If a plan has already been assigned to your account, its installation details are available in your Mobile workspace.
How do I know whether my phone supports eSIM?
Open the compatibility guide above and check your exact device model and purchase region with the manufacturer. Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked for use with another carrier.
Will I keep my phone number?
Yes. Installing a data eSIM does not replace the number on your regular line. Messaging and internet calling apps can use your data connection. Calls and texts through your regular line may incur your home carrier’s fees.
Do I need to turn on data roaming?
Follow the instructions for your assigned eSIM. Travel data profiles often require roaming on that profile. Keep roaming off on your home line if you want to avoid its roaming charges, and check that the travel eSIM is selected for mobile data.
When does my data plan start?
The exact trigger depends on the package. It can be installation, first connection to a supported network or another supplier condition. Check the activation policy and validity before installing or traveling.
Can I plan a trip across several countries?
Yes. Select the Regions or Global option in the planner to estimate your needs for a multi-country trip. Exact destination coverage and retail packages will be confirmed when plans launch.
How much mobile data will I need?
It depends on how you use your phone. Choose a usage profile or adjust your daily habits in the calculator. The chart estimates how long your allowance could last and adds a buffer to its suggested allowance.
Where can I see my eSIM and remaining data?
Sign in to your ExoNeuro Mobile workspace. Assigned eSIMs include installation details and, when reported by the supplier, remaining data and expiry information. Usage reports can be delayed.
Does a data plan include calls and SMS?
A data-only package provides internet access. It does not include a new phone number or standard mobile calls and SMS. You can use internet calling and messaging apps over the connection.
